Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer TWIC Patrol in Deer Park, TX. You will conduct unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and deter security incidents with a visible presence at a chemical/petrochemical site.

Competitive pay at $14.75 per hour, plus a $1,000 hiring bonus. A valid driver’s license and TSA-issued TWIC are required.

Qualifications

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting access-control concerns.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
