Job summary

Weiser Security Services, Inc. in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a security officer to protect client assets, personnel, customers and visitors. Must have TWIC, open availability, and be able to work 12-hour shifts.

Under supervision of the Account Manager or Branch Manager, you will Patrol, monitor access, observe and report incidents, and complete daily reports according to post orders. High school diploma or GED required; 21+ and clean background; physical fitness to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• TWIC certification is required for this role.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Clean criminal background.
• Must be physically able to walk and stand for extended hours.
• Ability to lift, push, or carry up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Protect the interests of the client within the facility and to protect lives and property of employees and visitors.
• Observe and report signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
• Prepare reports daily as trained and submit to proper contacts.
• Complete patrols as required by post orders.
• Monitor and control access to property as required by post orders.
• Notify proper authorities in emergencies as outlined in post orders.
• Report all violations of company policy and local and federal laws as stated in the Employee Handbook.
• There may be additional responsibilities as specifically required by the client and the assigned post.

• Protect the interests of the client within the limits of the facility and to protect the lives and property of employees and visitors.

• Prepare reports daily as trained and turn them into the proper contacts.
• Complete patrols as required by post orders.
• Monitor and control access to property as required by post orders.
• Notify proper authorities in all cases of emergencies as outlined in the post orders.
• Report all violations of company policy and local and federal laws as stated in the Employee Handbook.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Graduate or GED
• Must be 21 years of age.

• Must be TWIC Certified
