Job summary

Cote Family Companies is seeking a TVR Retail/Gift Shop Associate in Tucson, AZ. This part-time position focuses on delivering excellent guest service in the resort gift shop and handling cash transactions.

You will assist guests with gift and clothing selections, provide accurate product information, and help maintain an inviting store presentation while adhering to resort procedures. Hospitality experience is preferred and ability to lift items when needed is required.

• Warmly greeting and welcoming all guests upon their arrival.
• Providing helpful answers to inquiries, selling garments and miscellaneous gifts, and offering accurate information about products and pricing.
• Processing payments efficiently by operating cash registers and handling financial transactions.
• Handling refunds and returns professionally, resolving customer issues with tact and empathy.
• Performing tasks such as steaming, folding, and preparing items for sale to maintain an appealing presentation.
• Ensuring a clean and organized store environment, including keeping displays neat and organized.
• Assisting with inventory management by ensuring racks are fully stocked and products are readily available.
• Informing customers about discounts and special offers, and cross-selling related products.
• Contributing to visual merchandising efforts and assisting with creating appealing displays.
• Completing other assigned duties as required.

TVR Retail/Gift Shop Associate

Part Time Tucson, AZ, US

Salary Range: $15.45 To $15.45 Hourly

Position Overview:

The Retail Attendant plays a key role in delivering excellent service to guests at the gift shop. In this position, you will manage cash transactions, assist guests with gift and clothing selections, and demonstrate a good understanding of the Resort, including its history and building locations. Ensuring guest satisfaction by adhering to approved cleaning standards and Resort procedures is also part of the role.

Job Requirements:

• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication.
• Proficient in time management, meeting deadlines, and adaptable to flexible work hours.
• Capable of standing, walking for 7 to 8 hours continuously, climbing stairs, reaching, and bending.
• Ability to lift over 25 pounds occasionally, as needed for the role.
• Schedule availability to work Sundays and Mondays with one additional shift every other week.

Education & Experience

• Previous retail experience is preferred.
• Prior hospitality experience is also preferred.
