Job summary

Huntington Learning Center seeks part-time tutors for ACT/SAT instruction in English, Math, Reading or Science. Responsibilities include teaching students, implementing curriculum, and communicating student needs to staff to maintain a positive learning environment.

We offer paid initial and ongoing training, flexible schedules (4-20 hours/week), and no lesson plans to create. Compensation ranges from $17.50–$19 per hour based on experience and expertise.

Qualifications

• Part-time evening and/or weekend availability.
• College degree required.
• Teaching certification is a plus, but not required for Math/Science/Writing (verified by assessment test).

Huntington Learning Center in Bloomingdale is hiring tutors for ACT/SAT instruction in English, Math, Reading or Science. We are looking for dedicated teachers to help our students reach a brighter future!

Candidates should possess the following qualities:

Job Requirements:

• Part-time evening and/or weekend availability.

• Type 09 teaching certification is a plus, but is not required for those with Mathematics, Science or Writing expertise (verified by completion of an assessment test).

Experience:

• Relevant: 1 year (Preferred).
• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred).

Hours:

• Monday to Thursday. 3 PM to 8 PM.
• Saturdays 9 AM to 3 PM.
• Sundays 10 AM to 4 PM.
