Job summary

Huntington Learning Center is hiring tutors for ACT/SAT exam prep. You teach the section you are proficient in, one-on-one with students, and help them progress quickly. Many roles welcome retirees and professionals who enjoy sharing knowledge.

Position offers flexible afternoon/evening/weekend hours, 4-20 hours per week, and no grading or parent conferences. Bachelor’s degree is required; teaching certificates are a plus, and in-person work is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (no exceptions unless within months of graduation).
• Familiar with the ACT or SAT, as well as standardized testing in the broader sense.
• Must demonstrate proficiency through an assessment on the relevant exam and/or subject.
• Must be a caring and qualified professional committed to the success of students.
• Able to work evenings and/or weekends.
• Candidates with teaching certificates are a plus.
