Job summary

Studypoint is seeking energetic tutors to teach SAT/ACT in-home across the Detroit metro area, including Ann Arbor. You will design your schedule, choose service areas, and travel to students’ homes using our proven curriculum to drive strong outcomes.

You’ll communicate clearly with students, parents, and employees, create a positive learning environment, and enjoy supportive management and mentoring. A Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of tutoring are required, with reliable car access for travel.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of teaching and/or tutoring experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong academic background.
• Confidence tutoring ALL sections of the SAT/ACT including verbal and math sections.

• Confidence tutoring ALL sections of the SAT/ACT including both verbal and math sections (Math sections include Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, and some Trigonometry).
• Reliable car access to travel to students’ homes.
• Design your own schedule and service area: You choose when you tutor and where you are willing to travel.

Typical Hours

Your availability should include 6 or more hours per week and should be primarily be in the following time blocks:

• Monday‑Friday: 3 pm‑9 pm
• Saturday/Sunday: 9 am‑9 pm

Where we Tutor

We tutor in the following towns in your area: Detroit, Grosse Pointe, Sterling Heights, Utica, Royal Oak, Birmingham, Farmington Hills, Bloomfield Hills, Rochester, Novi, Milford, Dearborn, Woodhaven, Canton, Ann Arbor. Being able to cover some of these towns will help ensure that we are able to pair you with in‑home students!
