StudyPoint, Inc. is looking for SAT and ACT tutors to provide personalized instruction to students in Chicago. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience. Tutors will use customized curricula to help improve student performance and are expected to engage with students effectively.
The position allows for flexible scheduling, with earnings ranging from $50 to $60 an hour. Being able to travel to students' homes is required, as tutors will work both in-person and online.
We are StudyPoint, a national leader in one‑on‑one tutoring. We operate in 19 markets nationwide as well as online, and we have worked with more than 55,000 students since 1999! Currently, we’re seeking SAT and ACT tutors to work with students in their homes and online.
$50 - $60 an hour
Typical Hours:
Prime tutoring hours generally fall outside of school hours and on weekends. Your availability should include 6 or more hours per week and should be primarily in the following time blocks:
Monday‑Friday: 3pm‑9pm
Saturday/Sunday: 9am‑9pm

We tutor in the following towns in your area: Chicago, Arlington Heights, Barrington, Berwyn, Blue Island, Buffalo Grove, Burr Ridge, Cicero, Carol Stream, Darien, Deerfield, Des Plaines, Downers Grove, Elk Grove Village, Elmhurst, Evanston, Glen Ellyn, Glenview, Green Oaks, Golf, Highland Park, Hinsdale, Hoffman Estates, Inverness, La Grange, Lake Barrington, Lake Forest, Lake Zurich, Libertyville, Lincolnshire, Lincolnwood, Lisle, Lombard, Oak Brook, Oak Lawn, Oak Park, Orland Park, Palatine, Park Ridge, Mt Prospect, Mundelein, Naperville, Norridge, North Chicago, Northbrook, Northfield, River Forest, Riverwoods, Schaumburg, Skokie, South Barrington, Vernon Hills, Westchester, Westmont, Wheaton, Wheeling, Wilmette, Woodridge. Being able to cover some of these towns will help ensure that we are able to pair you with in‑home students!
