Job summary

BVSD Louisville Middle is seeking a part-time Tutor-Academic to support students, providing help with classroom tasks and Homework Club, starting September 21, 2026. The position is 9-month, 20 hours per week, at an hourly rate of $18.82, and located in Louisville, CO.

The role is non-represented, with supervision duties during lunch/recess and collaboration with teachers to support student learning. A HS diploma and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Communicate (read, write, and speak) in English, must pass English component of interview process.
• Completed and submitted BVSD online application.

Summary

• Minimum two years college, Bachelors Degree preferred.
• Experience in education/tutoring/mentoring of children/young adults (ages 5-12).
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents, school staff and administrators.
• Experience in working with children in a Core Knowledge setting.
• Positive communication, interaction, and work experience with diverse people.
