Job summary

Boys- in Independence, MO is seeking a Regular Part Time 21st Century Tutor to support the 21st CCLC program, providing literacy and educational services to participating children.

Responsibilities include conducting small-group activities, administering the Quick Phonics Screener, and developing engaging lesson plans aligned with QPS skills. Prior teaching experience preferred and some college is required.

Qualifications

• Experience facilitating quality programs for youth, preferably educational programs.
• Strong communications skills, both verbal and written, and strong presentation skills
• Group leadership skills, including an understanding of group dynamics.
• Ability to organize and multi-task a variety of responsibilities and deadlines.

Reports To: 21 st Century- Program Director

The 21 st CCLC program provides academic enrichment opportunities to complement student’s regular academic programs and offers literacy and other educational services to the families of participating children.
