Job summary

Carolina Therapy Connection is a pediatric therapy clinic in Pitt County, NC, offering tutoring to middle and high school students. The Part-Time Tutor role supports the Education Department by delivering targeted instruction and developing customized lesson plans, with emphasis on reading, writing, math, and study skills.

You will monitor student progress, adapt teaching strategies, and contribute to a collaborative environment that values professional development and student success.

Qualifications

• Experience tutoring or teaching, preferably with children in one-on-one or small groups.
• Strong knowledge of middle and/or high school curricula.
• Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Passion for working with adolescents and their educational success.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Part-Time Tutor, you will play a key role in supporting the growth and development of our Education Department. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing individual tutoringto pre-teens and teens in various subjects, including reading, writing, math, and study skills.
• Assisting with the creation and implementation of educational programstailored to meet the needs of each child.
• Monitoring and assessing student progressand adjusting instructional strategies as needed.

Qualifications:
