Job summary

Creed Medical Group Inc is seeking a Tutor to support students with intellectual or developmental disabilities. You will provide one-on-one academic support and help learners grow their confidence and skills in line with goals.

You will bring a student-centered approach, strong communication with families and staff, and the ability to tailor lessons, track progress, and adjust strategies as needed. Evening and weekend availability is preferred, and US work eligibility is required.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting learners with intellectual or developmental disabilities or similar learning-support needs.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods based on student learning styles and performance.
  • Strong lesson planning and student progress tracking skills for individualized instruction.
  • Excellent communication skills with students, parents or guardians, and academic staff, including the ability to provide regular progress updates and discuss improvement areas with sensitivity.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • Available to work evenings and weekends.
  • 2+ years of tutoring experience across mixed student levels is a plus.
  • Experience tutoring a mix of academic subjects is a plus.

As a Tutor, you will play an important part in helping students develop skills, build confidence, and make measurable progress toward their learning goals. This role is well suited to someone who brings a student-centered approach, values individualized instruction, and can work thoughtfully with students and the people who support them to create a positive and encouraging learning experience.
