Job summary

Creed Medical Group in Baltimore is seeking an academic support tutor to work one-on-one with students who have intellectual or developmental disabilities. You will tailor instruction, develop lesson plans, and provide progress-based updates to guardians, while fostering a confident, engaging learning environment.

Qualified candidates will adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles, track progress, and collaborate with academic staff. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to student learning styles.
• Strong lesson planning and progress tracking for individualized instruction.
• Excellent communication with students, guardians, and academic staff.
• Eligible to work in the United States; available evenings and weekends.
• 2+ years tutoring across mixed student levels (a plus).

Requirements

• Experience supporting learners with intellectual or developmental disabilities or similar learning-support needs
• Ability to adapt teaching methods based on student learning styles and performance
• Strong lesson planning and student progress tracking skills for individualized instruction
• Excellent communication skills with students, parents or guardians, and academic staff, including the ability to provide regular progress updates and discuss improvement areas with sensitivity
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Available to work evenings and weekends
• 2+ years of tutoring experience across mixed student levels is a plus
• Experience tutoring a mix of academic subjects is a plus
