Job summary

The Gund Company in Waukesha, WI is seeking a Turret Punch Operator for the 3rd shift. You will set up and operate Amada turret punch and perform related manual assembly tasks to meet customer specifications and quality standards.

This full-time, night shift role offers $27+ per hour based on experience with a 20% shift premium, and opportunities to grow within a fast-paced fabrication environment that values teamwork and problem-solving.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Amada Turret Punch according to instructions and blueprints.
• Load, operate, and manufacture a variety of parts per work orders and customer drawings.
• Complete project work involving assembly with hand tools, paints, and mechanical devices.
• Complete work order paperwork and perform in-process inspection according to standard procedures.

Job Summary

• Implement the Production Fulfillment Process steps related to the fabrication of parts according to work order and customer requirements. Ensures machinery is set up, works properly, and conforms with (and can produce materials that conform with) company quality, quantity, and efficiency standards.
• Set-up and operate CNC controlled turret punch. Other duties also involve manual work and/or assembly duties that require the use of various hand tools, paint accessories, drills etc.

Essential Job Functions

• Load, operate, and manufacture a variety of parts to make custom parts according to customer orders and instructions written on Work Orders and blueprints
• Complete project work as needed involving the assembly of parts that require the use of hand tools, paint accessories and mechanical devices
• Complete work order paperwork
• Perform in-process inspection according to standard procedures
• Maintain count and perform packaging duties as required
• Participate in cross training activities to become knowledgeable of equipment/process within the department
• Perform routine daily machine maintenance including cleaning up and lubrication Job Summary

Education and Experience

• A High School Diploma or GED with prior hands on, vocational or job-related course work/training, or any similar combination of education and experience is required. Prior experience in a manufacturing industry is preferred.
