Job summary

Lineage is seeking a 2nd shift warehouse associate in New York. You will pick, pull and move whole pallets, operate a Turret machine, and stage materials in a warehouse environment. You will maintain equipment, monitor batteries and assist with freight and pallet handling.

The role requires lifting at least 50 lbs, readiness for cold storage environments, and a flexible schedule including weekends. Lineage emphasizes safety, teamwork and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand instructions in the official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites while wearing PPE.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, weight may be more depending on facility.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times loud.

Responsibilities

• Write the order number, name of the receiver, and quantity of case on every order, box, pallet, packages and bins pulled.
• Report bad tickets right away to the appropriate leader.
• Pull all orders in a timely manner.
• Help run freight and locate product after orders are pulled.
• Report broken pallets to supervisor.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet.
• Monitor battery charge, maintain and clean batteries, and leave equipment at charging station.
• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment.
