Job summary

Lineage Logistics in Lithia Springs, GA is hiring a night-shift forklift operator. Mon–Fri 3:30pm–12am; you will pick, pull and move pallets using a Turret or Swing Reach forklift, while following safety standards.

You will write order details, pull orders promptly, help run freight, report issues, perform daily forklift checks, monitor battery charging, and keep equipment clean. Must lift 40 lbs and work in cold or dry storage with PPE.

Qualifications

• Turret Forklift / Swing Reach forklift experience required.
• MHE experience required.
• Able to lift 40 lbs and carry loads.
• Flexibility to work weekends or varied shifts.
• Comfortable with varying temperatures and PPE in cold/dry storage.

Responsibilities

• Write the order number, receiver name, and quantity of cases on every order, box, pallet, and bin pulled.
• Report bad tickets promptly to the leader.
• Pull all orders in a timely manner.
• Assist with freight and locate products after pulling orders.
• Report broken pallets to supervisor.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet and battery care.
• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment.

Job description

Monday through Friday 3:30pm, - 12am Pick, pull, and move whole pallets of products while operating a Turret machine while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. Place materials to be staged and put away in a warehouse environment.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Write the order number, name of the receiver, and quantity of case on every order, box, pallet, packages and bins pulled
• Report bad tickets right away to the appropriate leader
• Pull all orders in a timely manner
• Once orders are pulled, help run freight and locate product
• Report broken pallets to supervisor
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet
• Monitor battery charge, maintain, and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging station
• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• Turret Forklift / Swing Reach Forklift experience
• MHE experience required
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs,; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
