Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Predictive Maintenance Technician to join the Reliability Engineering team at the Turquoise Ridge Underground operation. You will help identify equipment failures and prevent them from occurring, contributing to a safe, productive work environment with a strong emphasis on continuous improvement.

The role supports oil analysis, data collection, and the implementation of new inspection technologies.

Qualifications

• Proven safety record required.
• Excellent attendance record required.
• Experience with predictive maintenance technologies and associated software/hardware preferred.
• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair all types of process equipment preferred.
• Microsoft Excel and Word skills preferred.
• Ability to schedule and prioritize workload.
• Ability to perform essential functions of the job.
• Rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function.

Responsibilities

• Review daily oil analysis reports and investigate with follow up samples, filter inspections and operational checks.
• Audit oil sampling quality and PM inspection findings.
• Monitor component operating hours and develop failure trends.
• Collect and analyze data on equipment using predictive maintenance technologies.
• Develop and maintain predictive maintenance technology databases.
• Support the implementation of new inspection technologies and condition-monitoring tools.
• Support and maintain equipment health watchlist with documented recommendations.
• Review OEM fault codes and recommend actions for prevention.
• Perform physical inspections of high-risk equipment.
• Generate and distribute condition and follow up reports to all levels of management.
• Support RCA investigations of major equipment failures with the Reliability Maintenance team.
• Identify recurring failures, poor maintenance practices, or design weaknesses.
• Assist with equipment modifications, prototypes, and reliability upgrades.
• Attend daily maintenance meetings and communicate reliability concerns.
• Translate technical findings into actionable recommendations for supervisors and planners.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
