Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Process Electrical and Instrumentation Technician at Turquoise Ridge to safely perform preventive maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of power distribution, switchgear, motors, process controls and instrumentation.

The role requires reading blueprints, working with PLC controls, and adapting to rotating day/night shifts. You will join a safety‑oriented, collaborative team supporting a world‑class mining operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of electrical and instrumentation experience; two years can be substituted with trade school or equivalent training.
• Ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot electrical/instrumentation circuits.
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and follow instructions.
• Some experience with PLC controls, troubleshooting and programming; VFD experience preferred.
• Capable of working with maintenance and operations teams; strong safety record required.

• Some experience with PLC controls, troubleshooting, and programming, as well as experience with variable frequency drives, preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of this job required.
• Capable and willing to work with maintenance and operational teams required.
• Good safety record and ability to work with various safety programs required.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule of days and nights, as this is an essential function of this role.
