Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Junior Geologist to join the Turquoise Ridge team. You will support exploration and geoscience teams, manage geoscientific data across its lifecycle, and work with GIS tools and geoinformation platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Mining Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
• Experience with GIS platforms is preferred (configuration, administration, or customization).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Collect geologic data, perform mapping, sampling, RC chip and core logging.
• Identify lithology, alteration and mineralogy related to gold systems.
• Ensure data integrity and implement QAQC procedures.
• Data synthesis, compilation, and geologic interpretation to support targeting.
• Support drill program execution and ensure safe operations.
• Deliver progress reports and keep stakeholders updated on project status.
• Interpret downhole televiewer data for drill targeting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Collection of geologic data, mapping, sampling, RC chip and core logging
• Ability to identify lithology, alteration and mineralogy associated with gold systems
• Ensure data integrity and implementation of QAQC procedures
• Data synthesis, compilation, and geologic interpretation to support targeting
• Support drill program execution and ensure zero harm
• Deliver regular progress reports and presentations, ensure key stake holders are kept up to date on project progress
• Interpret downhole televiewer data and apply to drill targeting
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Mining Engineering, or a related discipline required
• Experience with GIS platforms, including configuration, administration, or customization preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills required
• Proactive mindset with the ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively across teams preferred
