Job summary

Watterson-Environmental- seeks a skilled Reconstruction Technician to restore properties damaged by fire, water, mold, and storms. You will perform drywall repairs, minor carpentry, plumbing, and flooring installation on residential and commercial sites.

Join a fast-paced team focused on turnkey restoration and support mitigation efforts. Valid driver's license and 2+ years in construction/handyman services are preferred; OSHA/IICRC certifications are a plus. Training provided where needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in construction/handyman services.
• Valid Driver’s license in good standing.
• Familiarity with mitigation processes for water, fire, and mold damage, preferred.
• Certifications such as OSHA, IICRC, etc., preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic drywall repairs, patching, taping, and finishes.
• Carpentry and cabinetry repairs to restore damaged structures.
• Execute basic plumbing tasks and fixture replacements.
• Install and repair flooring materials in affected areas.
• Restore properties to pre-loss condition following fire, water, mold, or storm damage.
• Assist mitigation technicians with water extraction, fire damage cleanup, and mold remediation efforts.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes.
• Operate company vehicles as necessary.
