Texas AirSystems is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate and manage all administrative and logistical tasks through project completion in a fast-paced HVAC environment. You will ensure timely delivery, maintain customer satisfaction, and collaborate with Project Team, Sales, Customers and Manufacturers.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HVAC or construction, a bachelor’s in engineering is a plus, and proficiency with Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of HVAC, mechanical contracting, or construction experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage high-volume projects.
  • Experience with project-management tools such as Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage all administrative tasks for projects.
  • Create and maintain project files and records in system.
  • Oversee project budgeting, invoices, and procurement.
  • Track multiple projects and ensure timely completion.
  • Lead meetings, follow up on actions, and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Monitor subcontractor invoices and vendor relations.
  • Maintain documentation and project progress transparency.

The Opportunity

As the Project Manager, this individual will be responsible for coordinating and managing all administrative and logistical tasks

through to project completion. Must be detailed, customer service oriented and have excellent organizational skills. Position

requires a high level of oral and written correspondence with the Project Team, Sales Team, Customers and Manufacturers to

ensure timely completion of assigned projects while maintaining customer satisfaction. Must be able to work well with others in

a fast-paced & high-volume environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee all administrative tasks assigned by Project Management team and Operation Managers.
  • Create and maintain job files, project records and archives in Procore and other CRM systems.
  • Optimize the project through all stages to completion including managing invoices, managing purchase orders, expense reports, etc.
  • Manage multiple projects on an ongoing basis.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide follow-up to team on key actions and priorities.
  • Coordinate and manage Turnkey project management team schedules, prepare meeting agendas, take meeting minutes and manage all project correspondence.
  • Manage subcontractor invoice review and processing.
  • Track and manage project expenses to ensure adherence to budget guidelines.
  • Manage and track project completion progress and maintain accurate and accessible documentation with all relevant project stakeholders.
  • Oversee tracking of sales teams and/or subcontractor’s procurement of materials and equipment required for project.
  • Develop and grow relationships with customers, contractors, project engineers and manufacturers
The Required Profile
  • 5+ years of experience in HVAC, mechanical contracting, or construction industry experience is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, deal with ambiguity and manage high volume projects.
  • Experience working in project management tools such as Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam is preferred.
  • Ability to Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookOther Skills/Abilities

Environmental Requirements

Will be required to work in an office environment and frequently in the field.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard and telephone, reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
