Insync Staffing Inc. is seeking a Turnaround Scheduler with advanced Primavera P6 expertise for a major 2027 industrial turnaround project in Pasadena, TX. This 8-month contract requires strong CPM analysis, base-lining, and tight coordination with maintenance, operations, engineering, procurement, and contractors.

The role is 100% onsite with occasional overtime to ensure schedule readiness. The ideal candidate will manage, update, and recover schedules, track manpower, and deliver daily

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial turnaround scheduling.
• P6 proficiency including WBS, baselines, logic, constraints.
• CPM, float analysis, forecasting knowledge.
• Experience updating schedules during active field execution.
• Advanced Excel and scheduling/reporting skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and contractors.

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain, and update the integrated 2027 turnaround schedule using Primavera P6.
• Coordinate maintenance, engineering, operations, contractor activities, and shutdown/startup schedules.
• Establish baselines, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.
• Align scheduling with SAP maintenance work orders and project readiness.
• Monitor progress, identify delays, and analyze schedule variances.
• Develop recovery plans, schedule adjustments, and what-if scenarios.
• Track manpower requirements, resource availability, and scheduling conflicts.
• Prepare daily progress reports, manpower forecasts, and look-ahead schedules.
• Support turnaround meetings and provide scheduling updates to project leadership.
• Maintain accurate final schedules and support project closeout reporting.

Job Title: Turnaround Scheduler – Primavera P6

Pay: $80.00–$86.00/hour

Hours: Monday–Friday; 40 hours per week with occasional overtime

Location: Pasadena, TX | 100% Onsite

Duration: 8 month contract

Overview

Seeking an experienced Turnaround Scheduler to develop, maintain, and manage integrated schedules for a major 2027 industrial turnaround project. This position requires advanced Oracle Primavera P6 expertise, strong critical path analysis skills, and experience supporting industrial shutdowns, outages, or major maintenance projects.

The Scheduler will collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and contractors to ensure schedule accuracy, identify risks, monitor progress, and support successful turnaround execution.

Required Skills

• Industrial turnaround, shutdown, outage, or major maintenance scheduling experience.
• Advanced Oracle Primavera P6 proficiency, including WBS, baselines, logic, constraints, resources, and schedule calculations.
• Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM), float analysis, schedule variance, and forecasting.
• Experience updating schedules during active field execution.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and scheduling/reporting skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
• Availability to work 100% onsite with occasional overtime.

Preferred Skills

• Petrochemical, chemical manufacturing, refining, or process-industry turnaround experience.
• SAP maintenance work order experience.
• Resource-loaded scheduling and manpower forecasting.
• Experience integrating contractor schedules into a master schedule.
• Experience with schedule comparison, resource leveling, and recovery planning.
