Job summary

Selby Jennings is seeking Turnaround & Restructuring professionals to provide extensive financial and operational support on client engagements across industries. You will build dynamic financial models, 13-week cash flow forecasts, and contribute to strategic plans and contingency analyses.

The role emphasizes rigorous quantitative analyses, strong writing skills, and the ability to work with management teams in fast-paced environments. Travel to client sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance and/or accounting preferred.
• Graduate business degree with concentration in finance, accounting and/or operations preferred.
• Minimum 4+ years of relevant professional work experience.
• Hands-on experience building/maintaining dynamic, integrated 3-statement financial models and 13-week cash flow models.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis of current and historical business performance and capital structure.
• Develop 13-week cash flow forecasts outlining liquidity profile and cash needs.
• Create dynamic financial models showing client performance and projections.
• Support creation and preparation of corporate strategic plans.
• Provide implementation support to approved business plans and strategies.
• Engage with client personnel and management to achieve objectives.
• Develop and furnish appraisal of business options and contingency plans.
• Gather, analyze, and organize large data sets, even if incomplete.
• Support development of quality client deliverables.
• Provide interim support on operating functions and duties as directed.
• Assist in bankruptcy preparation and administration.
• Travel to client site as needed.
