Nutrien is seeking a Turnaround Event Manager for a 3-year temporary assignment to lead the full lifecycle of major plant turnarounds. You will integrate maintenance, reliability, operations, engineering, and procurement to deliver safe, on-time, cost-effective turnarounds.
The role requires engineering or trades certification with 10–15+ years of supervisory turnaround/maintenance experience and strong project management, leadership, and safety commitment.

The Turnaround Event Manager is accountable for the successful planning, preparation, execution, startup, and closeout of major turnaround events. This role provides overall leadership and governance for all turnaround activities and serves as the single point of accountability for delivering turnaround objectives related to safety, quality, scope, schedule, cost, and operational readiness.
The Turnaround Event Manager ensures seamless integration of maintenance, reliability, operations, engineering, capital projects, procurement, and contractor activities throughout the turnaround lifecycle while driving compliance with Nutrien turnaround and project management standards. The role champions a culture of safety, quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement while ensuring turnarounds deliver predictable and competitive results to the business. This role will report to the general manager at the site.
