Air Products is seeking a Cost Engineer to join the Project Cost Controls team within the North America PROS organization. The role emphasizes accurate cost forecasting, reporting, and financial control throughout project lifecycles.

Expected travel is ~25% domestically; on-site support is required during key turnaround phases, working with project teams to keep initiatives on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Requires 3–5 years in cost engineering, project controls, cost management, or related field.
• Strong understanding of estimating, forecasting, budgeting, and cost reporting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for turnaround cost management and cost control processes.
• Develop and maintain project cost estimates from ICE to TCE.
• Manage cost control systems for accurate financial reporting.
• Monitor expenditures and forecasts; identify cost risks and opportunities.
• Prepare financial reports and cost analyses for decision-making.
• Support funding expense authorization requests.
• Track budget-to-actual performance and KPIs.
