Job summary

Apex Home Health, Hospice & Home Care is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology physician to provide comprehensive women’s health services on a hospital campus.

You will perform OB/GYN procedures, deliveries, and support operating room activities while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a community-friendly setting near the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Qualifications

• Medical degree with OB/GYN specialization.
• Strong procedural skills and experience in deliveries.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Position Overview: An Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) physician providing comprehensive women’s health services, including general OB and GYN care, procedures, vaginal and C-section deliveries, and operating room support.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing OB and GYN procedures and deliveries
• Providing patient care in a hospital setting with access to modern technologies
• Participating in surgical procedures and maintaining OR availability
• Potentially supervising mid-level providers
• Utilizing EMR systems such as Athena EMR, Centricity, and Paragon
