Sigma AI is seeking freelance Turkish translators to work on remote data annotation, transcription, and localization projects. You will categorize and annotate language data, correct transcripts, and contribute to content creation using our online platform.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s in Translation, native or near-native Turkish, strong English skills, and meticulous spelling and grammar. This role is remote and contract-based for freelancers.

All tasks are remote, performed through an online platform available 24/7. This opportunity is offered for freelancersunder a commercial contract.

We Are Looking For Candidates With The Following Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpretation
• Linguist with native or near-native proficiency in Turkish
• Fluent in English with the ability to accurately listen and write with excellent spelling and attention to detail
• Solid command of linguistic theory, grammar, and language structure
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
• Computer literacy

Preferred (but Not Mandatory)

• Experience with one or more of the following: computational linguistics, corpus analysis, language data annotation, or LLM training
• Strong attention to detail

Computer

• Minimum 4GB RAM
• Microphone and webcam
• Operating system: Windows 10 or higher
• macOS 13 Ventura or higher
• All OS updates installed and supported by the vendor

Connectivity & Accessories

• Stable internet connection
• Headphones
• Secure internet location, protected by a strong password

For audio-collection projects only

• Mobile phone with Android OS
