Turing.com is looking to hire a System Administrator on behalf of a NASDAQ-listed company that is bringing game-changing technology to the advertising industry. The selected candidate will be helping a team of leading industry experts to build scalable, modern solutions. The company has built an independent media buying platform suited for the open internet and helping marketers reach more customers rapidly. They have managed to raise more than $300mn in funding so far. This will be a full-time, long-term role requiring 4+ hours overlap with the EST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze system messages, test new patches and upgrades, monitor, troubleshoot performance issues, and promote application objects
  2. Provide guidance to the team on EPM integrations and custom reports
  3. Adapt and optimize applications in response to changes in business structure and strategy
  4. Validate and reconcile the system during system implementations and upgrades
  5. Create and implement the operational controls that are required
  6. Ensure the timely and accurate generation of all reporting, as well as the consistency and standardization of various types of reports and databases
  7. Work with other departments, including Finance and Accounting, to review business and system requirements, processes and/or system design
  8. Review plans for build, test, and post-implementation to ensure the successful implementation and execution
  9. Work on the creation, maintenance, and support of metadata and data in all applications

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  2. At least 3+ years of experience working as a software engineer
  3. Sound scripting expertise with Python or Ruby
  4. Ability to write a full script in an Object-Oriented or other languages
  5. Background in software engineering infrastructure will be helpful but not required
  6. Solid capacity in managing 3rd party services and setting up corporate 3rd party services such as Atlassian, Jira, bamboo, etc.
  7. Experience with services on top of OS and Linux
