Job summary

LandPro Equipment, a John Deere dealer, is seeking a Turf Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain lawn and turf equipment in a fast-paced shop. You’ll work on riders, zero-turns, tractors, and handheld gear, applying diagnostic skills and service procedures to keep customers’ machines running reliably.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience repairing lawn & garden equipment or similar machinery.
• Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of small engines and equipment systems.
• Ability to follow service procedures and use diagnostic tools.
• Basic computer skills to complete digital work orders.

Responsibilities

• diagnose, repair, and maintain lawn, garden, and turf equipment
• perform routine service and preventative maintenance on customer and dealer-owned equipment
• troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• use service manuals, tools, and diagnostic systems to complete repairs accurately
• maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• complete work orders, reports, and documentation accurately and on time
• track time and materials used on each repair
• participate in ongoing training to build your technical knowledge
• work closely with teammates to support shop productivity
