Job summary

LandPro Equipment is seeking a Turf Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain turf equipment in a fast-paced shop environment. You’ll handle riding mowers, zero-turns, compact tractors, and related gear, performing preventative maintenance and diagnostic tasks to keep customer equipment running smoothly.

The role requires at least 1 year of hands-on repair experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and solid communication skills. A valid driver’s license and high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience performing service repairs on lawn & garden equipment or similar machinery.
• Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of small engines and equipment systems.
• Ability to perform repairs and maintenance using tools and service procedures.
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete digital work orders.
• Ability to safely operate equipment used for diagnostics.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs repeatedly.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain lawn, garden, and turf equipment.
• Perform routine service and preventative maintenance on customer and dealer-owned equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Use service manuals, tools, and diagnostic systems to complete repairs accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Complete work orders, reports, and documentation accurately and on time.
• Track time and materials used on each repair.
• Participate in ongoing training to build your technical knowledge.
• Work closely with teammates to support shop productivity.
