Wage: $17.50-$19.50/hr.

Job Description:
We offer flexible work schedules, ranging from 20-40 hours per week, the opportunity to earn paid vacation time and overtime in the first few months of employment, and we work with school schedules. Most opportunities provide for a six-month season, and, in some instances, up to 9 months.
Our Turf Maintenance crews work in nearly all our 36 developed parks, two municipal cemeteries, and other City properties. Skills learned on these crews will focus on mowing, string trimming, edging, and chemical control of turf areas. Our crews also manage topdressing of turf, aeration, reseeding, complete turf renovations, and new construction. Learn weed identification, turf grass maintenance practices, and construction practices.
We manage 36 developed parks, 900+ acres of open space, 21 miles of trails, hundreds of acres of landscape beds, and we are growing! Many of our developed parks offer year-round access to restrooms and shelters to park patrons. Join a dynamic team who helps create the experiences for the visitors of our parks system.
