Job summary

Juniper is seeking an Agronomy Technician responsible for the safe and appropriate application of fertilization and Integrated Pest Management needs for our landscape maintenance properties.

Responsibilities

• Identifying, diagnosing, and treating turf and ornamental issues as they arise
• Applying fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and insecticides as needed to lawns, shrubs and plant material in accordance with label instructions and safety procedures
• Preparing and mixing products according to label instructions and product specifications, and using in accordance with prescribed safety precautions
• Ensuring the safe and proper operation of tools, vehicles, and equipment; adhering to safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Maintaining cleanliness of vehicle and equipment
• Maintaining accurate records of products used
• Completing required correspondence regarding work orders
• Retention of customers through rapport, communication, and meeting expectations
• Using hand tools, power tools and/or equipment to perform IPM duties
• Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
