Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant professional experience repairing small gas and diesel engines.
• Experience performing service repairs and meeting performance metrics.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and manuals used on turf equipment.
• Ability to drive equipment delivery vehicle and obtain DOT Medical Certificate if required.
• Valid driver’s license and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
• Performs diagnostics and repairs on John Deere and competitive equipment and technology.
• Mentors Service Technician Trainees and Service Technicians.
• Provide delivery support as needed, e.g., equipment pick up or delivery.
• Accounts for billable time and assigned work orders.
• Documentation of diagnostics and repairs performed on work orders and on-time submittal.
• Participates in John Deere University and dealer training programs.
