Job summary

Intuit seeks motivated individuals to join as TurboTax Local Service Experts, working onsite at a TurboTax location to deliver full tax return preparation and expert guidance. You’ll help clients understand their complete financial picture, collaborating with specialists in bookkeeping, payroll and financial planning, and actively growing the local client base through community engagement.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA or practicing attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, 20+ hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador, building a local client base and engaging in grass-roots marketing and events.
• Connect clients with the full Intuit ecosystem, including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning services.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professionalism and personalized service.
• Collaborate with a team of specialists to deliver end-to-end tax solutions.
