Intuit is seeking TurboTax Local Service Experts to work onsite at a TurboTax location in the United States, delivering full‑service tax return preparation and expert guidance. You will connect clients with the broader Intuit ecosystem, including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning, while growing your local client base.

You’ll act as a trusted advisor, providing personalized tax advice, leading discovery sessions, and helping clients navigate complex scenarios—from W‑2s to business

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software; Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office location, typically 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, for at least 20 hours per week.
• Must complete required training and development as determined by the business.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and participate in advertising using your name/picture.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future planning.
• Be a proactive community ambassador and grow the local TurboTax client base through outreach and events.
• Collaborate with specialists in bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, and advisory services to deliver end‑to‑end Intuit experiences.
• Build long‑term relationships with clients and ensure a best‑in‑class customer experience.
• Leverage marketing tools to create local visibility and client opportunities.
