Job summary

Pacifico Energy seeks a seasoned Commissioning Manager for the Cedar Creek project in the United States. You will lead the owner's commissioning organization through startup and performance testing of the full turbine fleet, aiming for a safe, efficient path to commercial operation.

You will oversee gas turbine delivery, alignment, and installation of auxiliaries, coordinate OEM field service reps, and review work packages to prevent repeats.

Qualifications

• 12+ years installing large gas turbines and generators.
• 5+ years representing an owner over an EPC contractor under a lump-sum contract.
• Deep familiarity with OEM installation procedures and alignment practice.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Oversee gas turbine and generator delivery, storage and preservation.
• Monitor machine setting and alignment against vendor tolerances.
• Oversee installation of turbine auxiliaries, lube oil and inlet air systems.
• Monitor lube oil flushing and cleanliness through to acceptance.
• Coordinate OEM field service representatives across the fleet.
• Review work packages early – a packaging flaw repeats on every unit.
