Job summary

MD&A, a world-class power generation services provider in St. Louis, MO, seeks experienced welders for the Repairs Division. You will fabricate, repair, and weld diaphragms and blades on turbines, using TIG and stick welding techniques, with responsibilities spanning from layout to final weld repairs.

The role requires ability to read blueprints, travel up to 50% (including international), and work weekends/holidays as needed. High school diploma and trade schooling are expected.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret blueprints and repair procedures.
• Proficient in TIG and stick welding with relevant certifications preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 50%, including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Weld/repair GE type diaphragms and Westinghouse blade rings.
• Reverse engineer and lay out a diaphragm.
• Perform weld repairs with 410 SS and Inco.
• Weld repair all OEM type stationary blades.
• Operate welding equipment and adhere to safety procedures.
