Job summary

Constellation Energy Corp. is seeking a senior outage services professional to drive reactor turbine outage projects. You will develop plans, manage scope, schedule and cost, and coordinate with clients and major vendors to ensure safe, reliable outages.

You will lead teams across centers, ensure compliance with standards, and guide performance management while pursuing continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires substantial power generation and outage leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of power generation experience and leadership in outages.
• Experience leading refueling outages and interfacing with clients/vendors.

Responsibilities

Expected salary range of $158,400 to $176,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

Primary Purpose of Position

Responsible for execution of reactor turbine generator project teams to support safe, reliable, and efficient outage activities consistent with Constellation goals. Implements standardization of outage processes and procedures across assigned Constellation Clean Energy Centers (CECs). Reinforces standards and expectations for Outage Services personnel and other personnel who interface with Outage Services to establish an error free and professional work environment.

Primary Duties and Accountabilities

• Perform development of detailed plans, identification and assignment of personnel, and development of detailed work scope. Develop scope schedule and budget with the life cycle cost management system.
• Apply expert knowledge in execution of refueling outage services at assigned CEC. Provide primary communication with client CEC management and major vendor service organization.
• Direct project completion and close out of financial and technical documentation. Provide fiscal data and promote fiscal accountability among all project participants
• Responsible for continuous improvement initiatives and promoting these improvement initiatives among all project participants at CECs.
• Responsible to effectively communicate technical, financial, and work progress status to all levels of corporate and CEC management.
• Reinforce appropriate fundamental behaviors in area of assigned responsibility. Includes administering coaching, mentoring, and performance management for managers and employees

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of power generation experience OR
• Associate's degree with 10 years of power generation experience OR
• High school diploma/GED with 12 years of power generation experience
• Demonstrated leadership in a minimum of 3 refueling outages
• Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties

Preferred Qualifications

• Managerial experience i.e - strategic planning and responsibility in setting goals and managing budgets
• Turbine/generator experience
• Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills
