Job summary

MidAmerican Energy Company in Moline, IL is seeking a Combustion Turbine Technician capable of electrical, mechanical, and control work at generating sites. The role may accept an apprentice at Step 2 or higher and involves safety-focused maintenance, testing, and installation tasks.

You will work with a team to diagnose equipment, perform calibration, and maintain plant systems including turbines, boilers, and auxiliary equipment, ensuring reliable operation and compliance with procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience working with electrical, mechanical, and control systems at industrial sites.
• EEI MASS testing is required.
• Apprentice level accepted at Step 2 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, mechanical, and control maintenance, repair, inspection and testing on generating site equipment.
• Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain plant control and indicating equipment.
• Operate and maintain station and yard mechanical equipment and structures, including welding and rigging.
• Follow safety rules and procedures to protect workers and the public.
• Lead and train other personnel as necessary.
