Ameren Missouri is seeking an Electrical Engineer to develop and execute projects related to generator and exciter systems across the Ameren fleet. The role involves technical leadership, performance testing, and coordinating maintenance activities with various internal teams.
The candidate will contribute to reliability improvements, interface with industry partners, and prepare documentation demonstrating compliance with regulations.

Our service area covers 64 counties and more than 500 communities including the greater St. Louis area.
The Engineering position is responsible for developing, planning and executing projects as well as providing technical expertise on generators, exciters and associated electrical equipment designs, equipment inspections, testing and/or repair projects on this equipment within the Ameren fleet.
Subject to significant travel between Ameren generating facilities, extended working hours, nights/weekend/holiday coverage, and travel to vendor facilities to monitor equipment repairs.

$71,100.00 - $172,200.00 * This pay range encompasses multiple levels of the role. Career level and compensation depends upon applicant’s credentials. At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
