Aerotek is seeking a Turbine Engine Technician in Mesa, AZ, to join an FAA-certified repair station that provides maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for PT6A and PT6T turbine engines. You will disassemble, clean, evaluate, repair, and reassemble engines, following detailed manuals and diagrams to ensure safe, reliable engine performance.

The role requires 3 years of aviation maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to read English instructions.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Approximately 3 years of experience in an aviation maintenance environment, preferably working on PT6A or PT6T turbine engines.
• Hands-on engine repair, troubleshooting, inspection, and maintenance tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret turbine engine manuals, diagrams, charts, and schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose mechanical issues.
• Ability to work well in a team and exercise sound judgment.
• Ability to read and comprehend written and oral instructions in English.

Responsabilidades

• Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul services on PT6A turbine engines in accordance with FAA standards and company procedures.
• Disassemble turbine engines, clean components, and evaluate parts for wear, defects, or damage.
• Repair or replace worn, defective, or damaged components using approved methods and tools.
• Reassemble turbine engines, ensuring correct installation and compliance with quality standards.
• Read and interpret manuals, diagrams, charts, and schematics to guide maintenance work.
• Conduct inspections and troubleshooting to identify mechanical issues and determine corrective actions.
• Follow written and oral instructions and document work performed, inspections, and repairs.
• Collaborate with team members in a repair station environment.
