Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc., based in Orlando, Florida, is launching an entry‑level Controls & Tuning Support Engineer I program. The role offers a structured training path to become a Commissioning Tuning Engineer, with rotations through classroom, lab, and on-the-job experiences alongside senior engineers.

Candidates will gain practical exposure to gas turbine controls, MHI architectures, and field diagnostics, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related experience as described in the job posting.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and regulations.
• Ability to write reports and present information clearly.
• Japanese or Spanish language fluency is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Be available for travel up to 50% for training assignments.
• Complete the Turbine Controls Engineering training program.
• Develop understanding of Gas Turbine operations and control system architecture.
• Assist with basic logic and graphics modifications under supervision.
• Participate in lab sessions to learn field wiring, signal tracing, and calibration.
