Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking an Alignment Mechanic in the United States to work a Friday–Sunday shift (5:30 pm–6:00 am). You will perform turbine assembly, alignment, blading, seal installation and related fabrication tasks, using precision measuring tools to verify tolerances and quality.

The role requires experience with manual machine tools like lathes, Bridgeport mills and grinders, plus the ability to read blueprints and work instructions.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of turbine assembly and industrial manufacturing experience.
• Experience with alignment, blading, seal installation/removal, welding and fabrication.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments to verify tolerances and quality.
• Experience operating manual machine tools (lathes, Bridgeport mills, grinders).
• Strong computer skills to retrieve and review manufacturing data.

Responsibilities

• Perform turbine assembly, alignment, blading, and seal work.
• Operate material handling equipment and cranes for lifting and movement.
• Read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing data.
• Verify dimensions and tolerances with precision tools.
• Set up and maintain manual machine tools and perform deburring.
