Job summary

FedEx in Memphis seeks an experienced aircraft mechanic to perform safe maintenance, engine runs, taxiing checks, and troubleshooting across scheduled MX locations. You will follow manuals, document exceptions, and participate in day-to-day release planning in the absence of supervision.

Applicants must have an A&P license, a high school diploma, and 36 months of turbine-powered aircraft maintenance experience exceeding 12,500 lbs MEW. Valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• A&P license required, valid non-restricted driver’s license.
• 36 months aircraft maintenance experience on turbine-powered aircraft over 12,500 lbs MEW.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and efficient maintenance, including repair, engine run, taxi and troubleshooting aircraft at MX locations.
• Execute planned and unplanned maintenance tasks per Manuals.
• Create accurate write-ups and communicate exceptions in a timely manner.
• Accept daily work release plan when no manager/lead onsite.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
