Job summary

FedEx Express in Indianapolis seeks an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician to provide safe and efficient maintenance on turbine-powered aircraft at multiple MX locations. You will perform engine runs, taxi checks, troubleshooting, and routine servicing to minimize delays and maintain flight schedules.

The role requires an A&P license, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 36 months of turbine aircraft experience over 12,500 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; A&P license required.
• Minimum 36 months aircraft maintenance experience on turbine-powered aircraft >12,500 lbs.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals and AML procedures.
• Must obtain engine run, taxi, and tow certifications as directed.
• Must be able to perform all job functions in restricted spaces and varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient maintenance and repairs at assigned MX locations.
• Execute planned and unplanned maintenance per manuals and procedures.
• Communicate exceptions promptly and create complete write-ups with inputs.
• When no manager is onsite, accept the daily work release plan.
• Maintain and service aircraft systems in line and hangar environments.
