Job summary

Hatch is seeking a Tunnels Engineering Intern to support the Infrastructure group from our Pittsburgh, PA office. You will apply engineering principles to tunnels and underground structures, performing data collection, analysis and reporting to meet project objectives.

Current students pursuing civil/structural engineering, geotechnical, or construction management degrees will thrive in an in-office environment with global collaboration. Some travel to remote locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil/structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, or construction management from an ABET-accredited university.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to tunnels and underground structures.
• Assist with designing underground infrastructure per quality objectives and standards.
• Collect and analyze engineering data to meet objectives.
