Job summary

The Boring Company is seeking an EHS leader in Las Vegas, Nevada to support multiple tunnel projects and ensure compliance in a high-pressure environment. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in EHS roles, especially in tunneling or heavy industries. Responsibilities include monitoring operations, performing inspections, and leading incident investigations. Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in construction or heavy industrial EHS roles, preferably in tunneling, mining, or oil & gas.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA and MSHA standards.
• Experience in conducting field audits and writing JHAs and incident reports.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily field operations to ensure compliance with EHS regulations.
• Perform regular tunnel and surface inspections.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Conduct job hazard analyses and risk assessments.
• Maintain EHS documentation and training records.
• Collaborate with teams to mitigate job-specific risks.

Skills

Construction or heavy industrial EHS experience

Knowledge of OSHA, MSHA

Conducting field audits

Incident report writing

Comfort working in underground environments

Education

CSP, CHST, or equivalent certification
