Job summary

Oldcastle APG in Maryland is seeking a production laborer to assist in the placement and finishing of concrete pavers. The role involves starting up processes, performing quality checks, stacking products on pallets, and maintaining a clean work area in a fast-paced plant environment.

Candidates should be prepared for standing 8–10 hours, variations in temperature, and exposure to noise and dust while wearing required PPE.

Qualifications

• Extended periods of standing on concrete floor 8-10 hours.
• Subject to temperature variations based on season.
• Subject to exposure to noise and dust.
• Use of PPE to include safety shoes, hard hats, ear and eye protection.

Responsibilities

• Assist in plant start-up as instructed.
• Perform quality control on finished products being tumbled removing any product not meeting quality standards.
• Stack/sort product (concrete pavers) on elevated pallets.
• Manual stacking of product (concrete pavers) weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Clean up designated area at end of shift.
• Assist in other areas of plant as needed and directed by supervisor.

Job Summary

Compensation

• The hourly pay is $18-$20, based on experience
