Job summary

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Process Engineering, Continuous Improvement, or a related Engineering discipline with software development experience.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of software development in a process oriented/regulated environment and adhering to a quality management system.
• Experience with Agile software development.
• Knowledge of Automation/Process Control experience.

Responsibilities

• Specify, plan, design, develop, test and support software components independently.
• Contribute to project schedule generation including scope, duration, and order of tasks.
• Monitor progress and report to leadership, adjust as needed to meet milestones.
• Propose solutions to maintain schedule milestones and manage scope creep.
• Translate requirements into design and implementation of well-structured software components.
• Implement new designs or enhancements to existing software; contribute to subsystems and systems.
• Troubleshoot/debug issues in automation systems and implement modifications.
• Participate in technical design reviews and code inspections.
• Ensure adherence to development policies and regulatory requirements, including 21 CFR part 11 and quality standards.
