Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience
• Experience dealing with Department of Education and Federal Financial Aid regulations
• Must have Title IV experience
• Ability to interpret and follow federal, state, and institutional guidelines
• Strong computer proficiency with accurate data entry skills
• Organizational skills for effectively multitasking, managing time, and meeting deadlines
• Professional and effective communication (verbal/written), interpersonal, and coaching skills
• Solid work history with verifiable references
• Passion for cosmetology and the beauty industry
• Honest, reliable, and ethical attitude with an ability to maintain confidentiality
• Preferred - bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Preferred - existing knowledge of the Paul Mitchell culture and technical systems
• Preferred - Bilingual

Responsibilities

• Advise prospective students, future professionals, and their families on financial aid requirements and eligibility.
• Inspect financial files for compliance, prepare paperwork for grants and loans, and recommend financial aid options.
• Stay up to date on Paul Mitchell standards, financial aid regulations, and proper procedures regarding releasing student information.
• Communicate effectively with diverse audiences to explain aid options and requirements.

WHAT'S REQUIRED?

• 5+ years of related experience
