Samuel Associated Tube Group is seeking Mill Stackers to support its tubular manufacturing team in Birmingham, Alabama. This hands-on role involves following instructions to operate machinery, stacking tubing, and assisting with fabrication tasks in a family-run, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in as a general laborer or operator in a manufacturing setting.
• Demonstrates a commitment to working safely.
• Can work well as part of a team and follow directions.
• Comfortable with some heavy lifting and repetitive tasks.
• Strong communication skills. Detail orientated to ensure high quality products for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Opportunities for general help supporting our mill and fabrication departments.
• Follow instructions to safely operate machinery to fabricate carbon steel tubing for customers.
• Be a part of the mill team by stacking tubing into racks or bundles as they come off the mill.
• Perform routine quality checks.
• Follow company safety rules.
